Liberty Park is a community park located on Pier III, just off the Bayfront Parkway. The park contains 8.5 acres of public access walkways and playgrounds. For almost twenty years, the amphitheater at the park was protected by a removable fabric covering. It was destroyed by a storm June 12, 2015. The new $350,000 roof and support structures were installed 2016-2017. Liberty Park is host to the Port Authority’s 8 Great Tuesday’s summer concert series.
