The EMTA serves as the public transportation provider for Erie County. In operation since 1966, EMTA currently provides two divisions of public transpiration, The e, fixed route buses and the LIFT to provide paratransit to residents of Erie County with mobility issues. The EMTA operate Monday through Saturday and continuously works to assess and meet the transportation needs of Erie http://County.Fixed Route (The ‘e')The e, fixed route buses, currently operate 28 routes through the City of Erie and Erie County. In order to provide reliable service to as many as possible, these fixed routes operate an average of over 20 hours and over 6,500 miles each day, Monday through Saturday. The entire facility is wheelchair accessible with a smooth and level pathway into the facility entrance.
There are 3 designated parking spaces per level at their main location in addition to 2 at the maintenance facility at the other end of the EMTA campus.
There are 4 designated spaces at the intermodal center.
Number of ADA stalls: at least 1 ADA accessible stall/restroom designated per gender for employees. In the not yet public customer service office in the TOD space located under the parking ramp, there will be 2 private restrooms.
The public area of the Intermodal(Greyhound) has one designated stall per gender.

EMTA is in the works of installing a user friendly AccessiBeWidget app onto their website as well as updated How to Ride video and app videos. The EMTA also provides travel training to teach those with sensory impairments how to ride. Also, every EMTA bus is ADA accessible. 
Braille and large print informational items are available upon request. Buses are also equipped with multiple signaling features such as auditory call outs and digital signage for stops.
