Elisha Mack's Boston Store, which began as the Erie Dry Goods Store in 1885, was downtown's premiere department store. It was well-known for its quality merchandise and service; the store offered home delivery which was done using horse-drawn carriages. In 1906, Mack built this livery, or stables, to house his delivery horses and equipment. Today, the building is home to the expERIEnce Children’s Museum. Admission charged.
