The Bayfront Promenade is a paved recreational trail which runs parallel to the bluffs overlooking Erie harbor. Interpretive panels located along the trail provide information on the Erie Extension Canal, sites relevant to the War of 1812, Erie’s commercial fishing industry and other maritime history. Be sure to stop, look and learn at each panel.
